What upper-body workout equipment would you recommend?
February 9th, 2010 | by admin |I’m considering working out this summer to improve my upper body, mainly the abdominal section. What equipment would you recommend?
Testimonials are always welcomed. If you’ve used the equipment before, please say so. How well did it work for you? When did you start seeing results?
Thank you in advance!
Oh, and by the way, I don’t want bulky equipment that can’t be moved around easily. I just want portable equipment.
To be honest, I don’t think you need much equipment. You can do lots of things such as push ups, sit ups, planks, squats, and lunges with your bodyweight.
To work the upper body, a simple and time-tested solution is a set of adjustable dumbbells and maybe one or two elastic resistance bands. With these you can work out all the muscles in your body.
Specifically for abs, look into a medicine ball, which is a basketball-size weighted ball. Many athletes use them for training the abs.
