what are simple exercises without using workout equipment?

April 25th, 2010 | by admin |

No no no, sex is not a sport. Really, how can anyone still believe that misconception nowadays. Sex is only burning energy but hardly any calories. So sex is just a waste of good energy (but fun nonethless).

There lots of exercise you could do without any equipment. Starting from basic running, sit-up, push-up. Basic aerobics is the best (including some stretching).

In Japan, they have what they call Radio Aerobics. In Indonesia, they call it SKJ (Physical Fitness Aerobics) which basically the same. You only need some music, a little time (about 15 minutes), and some will.

Well you did not specify what the exercises were for so here are a few and they may or not not apply to you…
push-ups, sit-ups, crunches, kegels, aerobics, jogging, running, jump roping (since you can use any rope or even plastic bread bags braided together). Honestly, you can get very creative with exercising. It depends on what purposes you had for the exercises. Were you wanting exercise to condition your heart or a certain set of muscles?

Yep..what the other respondent said is good exercise….sex that is…especially if it is lenghty…with one woman/(oops I’d better edit this and say men as well..do not know your gender) at a time of course! Of course if you can do it with more women (ditto here) wellll…you will burn off more calories that way. Seriously though….if you do not want to jog outside in the smog…and you want to do it cheaply..get one of those mini tramps (they are around 30 to 60 dollars)..and start jumping up and down on it…for say 30 minutes 3 to 4 times a week. You can do it longer should you wish..say 60 minutes every time. It is all exercise….and it is low impact (e.g. the tramp is springy)…as you are not jumping on a hard surface..so it is kinder to your knees and other joints. If you want to lift weights well you can purchase home dumbells for that purpose

Your Question: "What are simple exercises without using workout equipment?"

Is this because you dont own any equipment or don’t want to/can’t buy it?
If you have some medical condition that dis-allowes you from lifting heavy equipment then dont bother reading on…lol

My suggestion is making your own fitness equipment.
Collect a few empty plastic soft drink or cordial bottles (i find the ones with the handles easier) and fill them with sand or water. You can use these as your weights. And if you want to really get into it, find an old broom handle (or buy one from your local hardware store) and tape your newly made bottle weights to either end (make sure there an even distance from the ends) and use it as a weight bar.
**just make sure u tape them there or the’ll keep falling off**
You can keep adding more bottles to your broom handle as you get stronger.
Keep at it every day (with your running and other activities of course) and you’ll see the results.

If you want more info on getting fit using objects around the home just send me an email through my Yahoo page. I have a book on this exact subject.

You can devise flexible exercise routines for yourself that have several components — flexibility and stretching, aerobic fitness, posture improvement, and core strengthening.

Check out the resources in your public library or in bookstores. That’s a good way to find exercises that will best suit your own needs. Your exercises should vary from day to day, so that you do more than just a few favorites. Take a look at Pilates exercises — most of them are done with just your own body, on a mat of some kind — even a carpet.
