I got some resistance bands, the golds gym brand of long series resistance tubes from wal mart, but I am regretting it, as I am tall and scared that a full extention, with the bands anchored at my feet, will snap them, and I dont have a door attachment yet for the pull ups, but I have two 20 lbs dumbells, two 30 lb dumbells, and was wondering, if the dumbells and yoga mat would be enough? Because I dont think I can do the resistance band pullups without fear of them snapping.

I would start out with some 10 lbs, 20 lbs, and 30 lbs. As you progress you can get some more, but those are the main three that I use, I also have 40’s but I use the others most times. Having the 30’s will give you the option of going “heavier” if you want to. You can always get more weight as you get stronger. Hope that helps

It’s whatever works for you, I agree the one at Walmart looks the same, probably a ripoff of the beachbody design. Just so you have a place to do pullups! that’s all that matters.
