how can a 10 year old become flexible without any workout equipment?

April 15th, 2010 | by admin |

please my doughter really wants to be thin and flexible also she has asthma

Some kids are skinnier and more flexible than others. At ten I couldn’t touch my toes, and my best friend could twist like a noodle. Not everybody has natural 180 degree turn out. She needs to stretch every day if she is serious about this. She also needs to decide where she wants to be flexible. Does she want to do the splits? If so, read: http://dance.about.com/od/stepsandmoves/ss/Splits.htm . If you’re both serious about this she should be signed up for a dance class, a yoga class, or a pilates class. Asthma should not come between her and physical activity if it is properly managed.

They woul have to be born with it naturally, and I would reccomend stretching and doing the splits every day, thats how my dance teacher got flexible as a child.

she has to stretch every day and and After a while she will become more flexible. when you go into a STRADDLE ( sitting on the floor with legs apart ) go to the middle and hold it there for a little bit then keep going father everyday.other stretches that are good are…
PIKE ( on the floor with legs Straight in front of you and reaching for your toes) stretches the back of your knees and your hamstrings.
SPLITS will help you with your split leaps.
there are many more stretches that you can probably find on the computer.
