Guys, what type of work out equipment do you have and use?

How many of you use Bowflex or Soloflex or perhaps another brand of equipment. What are your likes and dislikes about these?

I have a Bowflex, some freeweights, an exercise tower (for pull-ups, dips, etc.), and a treadmill in my basement.

I really like my Bowflex. It does work the muscles differently than freeweights, but it still works the muscles good. It is a safe way to do a lot of exercises that you would need a spotter for at the gym. For example, bench press. You can go to complete failure on a Bowflex, and don’t need to worry about being stuck under a barbell.

The one downside to a Bowflex (IMO) is that it uses progressive resistance. When you first start an exercise, it offers little resistance, but as the rods bend more and more, the resistance increases. If you go slow, though, it puts your muscles under load for a longer period of time, and does help counter the progressive resistance.
