Weight training with no equipment?
February 2nd, 2010 | by admin |I want to add some weight training to my work out. Right now I get about 20 minutes of cardio a day. I want to add some weight training but don’t have the money to invest in a gym membership or any equipment. What can I use?
Use your own body as weight…calisthenics.
Also, for other exercises, you only need a few dumbbells or wrist/ankle weights. If you have no money at all to spend, you can use anything heavy enough around your house or fill out plastic bottles with sand or dirt. You can use bricks too, they’re dirt cheap.

Have you considered yoga? Many postures incorporate weight training using your own body weight and they add flexibility. If you do "flow" yoga, you can add a little more cardio too.
