The best way to lose weight or maintain a healthy weight is through changing your eating habits and exercising regularly.
1. Choose whole grains.
2. Drink plenty of water.
3. Choose lean meats and fish.
4. Know the portion sizes for your calorie target.
5. Limit fats to an average of 15 grams per meal.
6. Choose fresh fruits and vegetables whenever possible.
7. Work out for no less that 45 minutes, 4-5 days a week.
8. Select foods with less than 3 grams of fat per 100 calories.
9. Choose pretzels, baked chips, fat-free popcorn instead of fries and chips.
10. Avoid foods with partially hydrogenated oils, trans-fats and high-fructose corn syrup.
11. Choose cereal, bread, crackers or chips that contain 2 or more grams of fiber per 100 calories.
12. Choose fat-free or low-fat variety of foods especially when it comes to dairy products (milk, cheese, and yogurt).

Yes, here is a simple routine that I used when I was a teen in Greenland(middle of nowhere, no gyms in sight)
Monday:Wednesday:Friday.Push ups
Incline Push ups(with your feet on something like a chair, not the floor)
Sit ups.
Tuesday:Thursday:Saturday-Widened Push ups(your arms are as wide as possible)
Incline Push ups
Sit ups
Sunday:Rest your body.
As for the number of each to do, do between 8-16 pushups, and 2 sets.
For Example.-If you can do at most 10 pushups, do those 10, then do another set of 10, and then another set of 10, that way you get 30 pushups done, but you rest inbetween each set. Do the same for other excersices as well.

Diet-
Don’t try any of these so called fast acting diets they are all rip-offs. stick to whole unprocessed grains as
your main intake with medium level lean protein such as boiled skinless chicken breast or fish. mix in lots of
fruits and veggies to keep up your energy. supplement two meals a day with a diet shack like slim fast, these
take up a lot of space in your stomach and take hours to digest. you can purchase generic equate brand shacks
at wall mart for about $2.50-$3.00 for a six pack. the whole grains will keep you full longer than the
processed stuff making diets much easier.
exercise-
as much as we all hate it running long distances is a very effective way to loose weight. try 3-4 miles five
days a week at a very slow pace( barley faster than a brisk walk) make sure you have good running shoes.
swimming is also very effective if you can. running and swimming will lengthen your muscles giving you a
longer leaner look as well as burn off a lot of calories.
tricks and tips-
drink a least two full glasses of water before every meal to curve your appitite. drink lots of water until a
couple days prior to your event then cut back to loose excess water weight. cut out all grains two days prior.
most people have mild allergies to grains causing tissue to inflame particularly in the mid section. night
prior take gas x to relieve any excess gas that might be bloating you up. and finally, i know it sounds weird
but, smear your mid section with preparation H and wrap with Saran wrap the knight before. the anti
inflammatory effects of the prep H will shrink the tissue around your mid section and you will lose an extra
2-3 inches. the effects are temporary lasting 4-6 hours so plan to take it off at the last minute.
