I just got a …
I just got a Bodysolid Powerline home gym with leg press and agree they are a well made and versatile machine. Like with most machines it takes awhile to put together (took me about 5 hours) and you get a workout lugging the parts up the stairs, if you put it in a upstairs spare bedroom. I went for a discontinued model and saved 60%. Saved enough to get premium floor mats and a decent bench and some new barbells.

Thanks. the leg …
Thanks. the leg extension on the G5S is not the most comfortable I have used but it is OK. I find it stresses my knees a bit if I don’t take a second to really push the back of my knees into the pad. the Leg curl feature (standing and facing the machine, 1 leg at a time) is not good at all but i have never used a standing reverse curl machine that was any good. Overall the G5S does EVERYTHING extremely well (except what I already mentioned) and it was worth every penny.

Really nice home …
Really nice home gym !!!
Im thinking of getting a body solid G5S mainly for the lat pulldown and leg developer
How do you find those ?
A Power Rack would be a substantial addition !
I got the PowerLine PPR200X Power Rack
and i must say that it is really worth its money !

Very nice gym. I’m …
Very nice gym. I’m looking into creating my own Home Gym – I love using Elliptical trainers while watching TV. But because am a big lad it needs to be quite sturdy and durable. The last one made clanking and clonking noises and then a number of months later just broke in half…dreadful really.
I’ll be getting my weights and benches as well as a multipurpose smith machine…probably needs to be good and sturdy as well.

Thanks for the look …
Thanks for the look about. It was just what I was looking for as I am about to build a home gym. All I own now is a standard (cheap) bench and barbell set, but have some cash and an empty room now. You son showing up was a bit o a downer for me. Just lost my son to a divorce. But, what doesnt kill ya makes ya…hopefully…stronger. So, hold on to him and love him forever. I will always love my boy, though I may never see him. OK.. Enough. Peace!

I spent a bit more than $2k (most of it on the Body Solid G5S) over about 5 years… Like I said in the video… i only bought one piece of it new… the rest used but in good shape… if you are patient, you can find anything 2nd hand.
