is this good choice? and is bench press is the best weight trainning equipment?
i have no idea about the pricing as it is not in American dollars but everyone i know who has done training starts out with a bench. do you have someone who will be training with you. there are times when you will need a spotter when you get into heavy weights. the total gym we have in america is probably quite expensive but you can get a decent replica and you don’t have to fool with the free weights you just adjust to suit your needs. have you trained before. there are a lot of things to consider and i am only speaking from watching my sons train and what they started with which was a bench was not what they eventually ended up wanting and getting. maybe you should find a gym who will let you pay per month with no contract and try out some of their equipment and get their opinions and also the opinions of some of the people who go to the gym. good luck. hey, anything you decide is better than lifting the remote and the potato chip bag. good luck and have fun doing it. my sons sure do

I knew someone in HS who just worked on pecs (bench press) and after about a year he looked like a freak.
The two major exercises to do, if you only had 2 would be the bench press and then leg press. In this way, both will grow proportionally at the same time and you will look big and buff.
The leg press is the problem. It is hard to just go out and buy one. I would suggest becoming a member of some gym or health club that has those types of equipment.
Next, and most important is how you work out. Pick a weight for the bench press or leg press that only allows you to do that particular weight 7-9 times (repetitions). Once you can do this particular weight 12 times, then increase the weight to where you can only do it 7-9 times again. Also, do the 7-9 times (repetitions) 4 times in a row (sets). In this way you will build and not just be doing endurance excercises that make you look the same 20 years from now.
The surprising thing that you will find out is how short your stay at any one particular visit will be. You’ll see all these women bedaling away for hours with no visible results but your quick 7-9 reps for 4 sets on both the bench press and leg press will have you in and out in less than 20 minutes and you will see and feel the results quick.

Not sure about brands, but if you’re going to work out on your own you MUST get one with a captive bar – unless you want someone finding your choked corpse some fine evening.
For versatility you’ll want a set of smaller weights – dumbbells or small barbells – for other exercises. (I assume a universal setup is out of the budget for now.)
