How To Instantly Increase Your Bench Press Strength

This is a killer trick that you can use to instantly increase your bench press strength your very next workout. All you have to do is perform a set of reverse dumbbell flyes (aka bent over dumbbell raises) in between each set of bench presses. What this will do is take some of the blood and lactic acid build up from your chest and front delts and put it into your rear delts and upper back. This allows you to feel stronger under the bar and actually bench more reps and/or lift more weight then you could if you did not perform the reverse dumbbell flyes before each set of benches.

    how can doing more …
how can doing more weights make you stronger and able to do more you can probably do more anyway, this it’s all mental power, if you think you can do it and you push yourself you really can. Just do what you feel is right, in the proper way of course. It’s not about showin off if you need 5-10secs rests then do that to it all counts in the end

Typical negro comment. It’s not hard work, it’s genetics……..specifically, fast twitch muscle fibers – Africans have more.

I’ve had pretty good luck with this. I’ll just use some 10lbs plates…it helps loosen you up definitely. I noticed no strength decreases, but I do feel a little more fresh on my next set.

Kind of like walking to the fountain or some light stretches between squats.

    As a personal …
As a personal trainer I agree with dvivgaauto. If there is no lactic acid produced before the reverse fly what’s the point of it before a bench press – and creating lactic acid? What is this moving lactic acid concept? Although you’re using an opposing muscle group to perform the reverse fly, you’re still using energy/strength. I love supersets but the strength gains here are coincidental, rather than an ‘instant’ fixes that doesn’t work. No disrespect but I just can’t see it in this.

Question, reverse dumbell flys.. i thought that was only for your back and bicep day? no in that step of the reverse dumbell fly. am i to do that first than do the bench press as a super set? i hope that made sense.lol
