How can I lose weight without any equipment?

February 7th, 2010 | by admin |

I don’t have a backyard, I don’t have any special equipment, and I don’t want to spend any money. I have a Wii, but I don’t know if that’ll help. Any ideas of how i can lose weight?

Equipments are merely means to an end. They don’t make you lose weight, it’s what you do with those equipments that does. Dumbells for instance, can be duplicated by filling a water bottle with water. An average size bottle should weight a pound with water in it. You can fill it with sand if you want something heavier. Even if you don’t have a backyard or special equipment, you can still jog, walk, do pushups, jumping jacks, squats, lunges, swim, etc. Half of the equation would be to eat right, and don’t "overdiet." Cut back on high-calorie foods, try not to eat out as often, watch your food serving size, and NEVER starve yourself if you want permanent weight loss.

I heard that Wii fit is actually fun and effective to a lot of people. Give it a try especially during the winter months. The benefit of game-oriented exercises is that your mind would feel less of the physical strain; Therefore, before you know it, you’ll be sweating like heck. I used to play the Dance Dance Revolution game, and it’s amazing how 30 mins of playing can make my shirt drippin’ wet with sweat.

walking is an effective way to help lose weight. you can do it pretty much anywhere and it doesn;t require any machines. Aslo just try to incorporating more movement into your daily routine. Everything you do adds up in the end.
