What is a good piece of gym equipment?

March 5th, 2010 | by admin |

I’m building a home gym and already own a treadmill. What would be the best bang for my buck to get my 2nd piece of equipment to compliment the treadmill? I’m looking to spend a small amount $50-300 and I don’t want anything that would be redundant to the treadmill.

An adjustable (incline/decline) bench with a bar bell rack, a bar bell with various weights, and dumb bells with adjustable weight.

"Do-it-all" machines are a gimmick, free weights is how you build muscle

Just get some light free weights. You can mix mix those in nicely with the treadmill.
