What equipment at the gym is best for burning stomach fat?
March 6th, 2010 | by admin |ive got a week long gym pass and i would really like to burn my bit of stomach fat i have, they have pretty much every peice of gym equipment imaginable and im willing to train any of them
What i was told and it worked for me was to do a lot of cardio work.
I used to do the treadmill, i did 1 minute at level 5 and then every minute i increased the level by 0.5 until i got to about level 11, then i would walk for about 5 mins before doing this again. Also very good for your heart rate and burning off calories and slimming you legs as well. Gets results very quickly from doing this.
The cross trainer and bikes are also very good but not my favourite so can’t comment on what to do there.
You need to do sit ups along side, sit ups on their own will turn what you have into harder muscle but if you want to slim down your stomach alongside it then you need to do cardio work as well.
Even when your not at the gym you can go out for a run or bike ride and slowly increase the speed you run at, once you’ve got a good speed going then increase the distance you run at, do your sit ups at home..

unfortunately you cannot spot train your stomach fat off
when you burn fat it comes from ALL over your body…
simply the only way to kill the stomach fat…is to burn all your excess fat!

CARDIO CARDIO CARDIO, use the treadmill and elliptical i also really like a thing called the "Captions chair" for crunches

Cross trainer on high resistance uses most calories. However weight loss is a long term problem with only long term solutions.
1) Eat less
2) Take regular vigorous exercise
Repeat 1 + 2 forever
