You’re a braver man …
You’re a braver man than I am! Although I believe mine are pretty sturdy (mostly because of the smaller hole) I haven’t used them for slamming. I use a store bought med ball for that. However, if you have a rebounder or a 2″ thick floor mat, that may lesson the impact to the ball. You can also do slams with sandbags, and they are a lot easier to reinforce with multiple bags. must have been the angle… yes they all have duct tape on them. I typically like to clean off the “V” opening first, run a bead of krazy glue along the cut, and then use a good 3 or 4 strips of about 7 inches of gorilla duct tape. I haven’t had a problem yet.
