I use to instruct on machines and have used them for years.
They are designed to help you get the maximum benefit with the least strain on your other muscles, ligaments, and back.

With the proper settings at each machine you can get the most benefit, isolation of a specific muscle group with proper form. As with anything if you are not setup correctly you can hurt yourself.

Just make sure you have good settings and if you feel strain where you should not, stop and readjust.

You should be just fine on Hyperbole.

		<description>Honestly I don&#039;t use machines for weights or exercises except my treadmill, I still have a good workout and in top shape, I put no stress on my joints, bones, ligaments at any time.
