			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>If this is true then how do you explain the absolute monster bodybuilders that emerge from prison&#8230;those guys have very limited means of equipment and most definitely a pretty bad diet, yet you see men in their later 60s in better shape than a lot of people in their late 20s. Can someone explain this please because while it may be true for aerobic exercises&#8230;i dont believe that it also applys to weight training.<br />
<br />There&#8217;s a school of thought claiming that you have to constantly change your routine in order to &quot;trick&quot; the body into adapting to something new.</p>
<p>I find this to be untrue. While I believe in the benefits of cross training, I know that as long as you stay with a repertory of basic exercises and continue to increase the volume of weight you lift over a given time, you will get stronger.</p>
<p>Keep your rest intervals consistent and increase volume by adding to the weight each session or by lifting the same weight only with more repetitions.</p>

<p>And have it going straight up and down and put one hand on the lower bar in the square thing and one on the upper one and lift straight towards the ceiling without moving you upper part of your arms, just pivet at the elbows, and then move back down and repeat. It is kind of like an upside-down bicep curl.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>I have no confidence to go the gym so I was thinking of buying a some weights and a bench, would this work in helping me gain much muscle mass I want to gain 18 pounds and not sure what equipment I will need. Would I be able to get the right equipment with £100 or do I need a gym?<br />
<br />All you need are the weights and the gym. </p>
<p>I recommend dumbells and a curl bar. Get about 150 to 200 lbs of the cheapest weight you can find. and then work out every other day while you watch tv or something. Go to youtube and watch some videos on using free weights so you are sure to do it correctly. Its also important to take in a lot of protein and such so your muscles have fuel to heal and grow. </p>
<p>Gyms are a pain in the ass. I went for years before I set up my home gym, and I get a better workout when I&#8217;m at home then I ever did when I was waiting in lines for circuit machines. </p>
<p>BTW free weights are better then any of those machines becuase you also work stabalising musscles when you use propper technique. Just put the time in and you will beef up. Trust me.</p>

<p>I&#8217;ve always been a HUGE fan of working out the natural way. But no matter how many Crunches &amp; Sit-ups I do, I can&#8217;t manage to lose my extra bit of belly fat!</p>

<br />Well, first off, you need to burn the fat before you can start building muscle. If you start building muscle and have fat it will be hard to earn that six-pack you want. Running is the best way to lose the fat, start with warm up jogs and develop them into mile-runs, keep yourself active and continue with crunches. What you need is to develop core muscles. Look up how to work on core muscles that is key. Hope that helped.</p>
