What is some effective (preferably cheap) compact exercise equipment?

March 26th, 2010 | by admin |

I don’t have much space in my house, definitely not enough for something like a running machine/treadmill. What is some good equipment which takes up very little room but is still effective. I am aiming to lose weight and tone up so I need something which will help me to do both of those things. Please recommend things which are affordable, I’m a student currently so money isn’t in great supply.

I generally want something which is useful for exercising my stomach, chest and back muscles.

Pull-ups, Crunches, and Push-ups…These will all tone you up and are the cheapest and most effective equipment you can buy! :)

I live at school and am poor as well, I stole a set of 2 weights from my house at about 10 lbs each for now. There is a lot you can do with them. Or get one of those pilates exercise balls, go on youtube or exercisetv website. They have some good videos. Running outside will have the best overall effect though
