what is a good indoors fat-burning exercise?
March 20th, 2010 | by admin |It’s still too cold and rainy here for me to go outside and go running, but I want to do some more exercising. What’s a good exercise to do indoors, without any special equipment, that is aerobic/fat-burning and will get the heart rate up?
I train myself indoors at home with:
stepping exercises 3mins (1 song) – a step would be a good investment – or use the bottom stair
skip 1 min – use an imaginary skipping rope and vary your steps
jogging on spot 1 min
put on favourite music and dance 3mins (fast)
squats 1 min
burpees 30 secs star jumps 30 secs
run up and down stairs 1 min
overhead presses/bicep curls with weights (cans from cupboard will do) 1 min total
your favourite challenging ab exercise (I do crunches on a fitball) 1 min
Repeat x 3 and that’s a good workout, but you must
keep moving between exercises. Imagine you have a personal trainer barking at you to keep going.
Good luck it’s better than sitting in front of the TV eating cake.
